This is the first "sacred" artwork I've created.
It represents the principle of the Mother in the form of the Madonna, a principle that brings to life one of the highest essences we can experience: Faith.

I titled it "Eccomi" (Here I am) because with this simple affirmation, Mary accepts the divine proposal made to her by the Archangel Gabriel on the day of the Annunciation. No questions, no requests, just total Trust in Life, as it presents itself.

Here in Italy there's a famous saying: "trust is good, not trusting is better" that makes me think how a response like "Here I am" (Eccomi) is revolutionary and teaches us a way of being that we have forgotten. This painting is an invitation to remind ourselves that Life teaches us to accept with Trust our daily challenges, difficulties, and sometimes even illnesses, knowing that we live in a much greater plan that we do not yet understand.
